Frequently Asked Questions

The Island

Yes, Siargao has a few ISPs options, including Starlink, making it possible to work remotely. There is also a big community of digital nomads on the island.

Just like any other place in the Philippines. Foreigners can initially stay for 29 days, with the option to extend for up to 3 years

Visit between February to May for fewer crowds, June to September for friendly waves, or October to January for advanced surfing.

December and January are the peak of the rainy season, with most days with pouring rain.

Options include hostels, Airbnb/villas, and long-term apartments, depending on your budget and needs. You can learn more on our guide for accommodation in Siargao.

Common transportation options include scooters and tuk-tuks. To arrive at Coco Space, follow these instructions.

There are many things to do besides surfing, including island hopping, diving, kitesurfing, and exploring natural pools and waterfalls. You can learn more about the island activities here.

Yes, we recommend checking out Communal Coliving.

The Space

Memberships are available in the space only. If you want to ensure there is a space left for the day, please contact us on WhatsApp or Instagram.

You can pay with GCash, Bank transfer, or Cash.
We accept PHP only.

Advice:
If you don’t have PHP but have a Revolut or Wise account, you can do a bank transfer to our bank account with low fees directly from the app.

Once you arrive in the space, you’ll get instructions on how to book the rooms using your credits.
To learn more about the rooms, please visit the facilities page.

No. But there is a Coliving in Santa Fe, just a few minutes from Coco Space. Please check out Communal Coliving.

Yes, outside, you can take calls and be loud without needing to book in advance, and after the main space is closed.

Our opening hours are:

Mon-Fri: 08:00 – 20:00
Sat-Sun: 10:00 – 19:00

Please follow us on Instagram to get notified if we might be closed because of a special occasion.

Coco Space members will have their small group chat to help get to know each other better, plan trips and hangouts, or help each other.

The groups will be managed by our community manager (who knows Siargao very well!) to give you some extra info when needed.

Yes, you can do that by asking the staff at the reception.

Prices:

  • Focus room – β‚±200/hr
  • Call booth – β‚±200/hr

As much as we would love that, we can’t guarantee a 100% uptime of all our offers.
We are doing our best to diversify ISPs and Power supplies to ensure you can work here without worrying, and many members do so, daily.

Β

Since the Space is mainly Solar and battery-powered, we are independent of the local grid and brownouts. However, we may need to turn off the A/Cs on very stormy days.

If, for some reason, one of our amenities didn’t work well and that effected your workday, we offer a refund for that day, no questions asked.

The best and my fav workspace in Siargao. Honestly, a 10/10 spot for working online... All you can need in one place: stunning views, strong internet connection, ergonomic and comfortable desk and chair, cozy spots to rest and take a break, AC and pool to beat the heat , delicious food at the bar (and fresh coconuts haha), lovely staff, and a community atmosphere with inspiring creative people. This is my third time coming back to Siargao as a digital nomad because this space guarantees 100% that I can work in top conditions throughout my workday and for my meetings. They also host community events, making it ideal if you travel solo and want to meet people who share the same lifestyle.

Best co-working space on the Island! 😍 Strong wifi, AC, and beautiful scenery - feeling very productive here πŸ™‚ Awesome smoothie bowls and coconuts πŸ₯₯ Another perk - they have solar power, which is much more stable than the regular power grid

I'm super disappointed with "Coco Space". One of my employees asked for only one week of Workation in Siargao to "Find inspiration", and we agreed. Long story short, it's been two months, and she refuses to leave the island, saying she can do the same work right there from Coco Space. While she still delivers and meets all the deadlines, we still want her back in the office cause that how things work. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Amazing! A digital nomad's dream ❀️ It is easily accessible after a beautiful scooter ride, but it feels like it is cut off from the world. Just spent 2 months there, coming to work almost every day. Comfortable seats with gorgeous views over rice fields and coconut trees, lovely community and staff, and refreshing pool for short work breaks. Cocospace evelated Siargao to one of the top digital nomad destinations in all of Southeast Asia!

Amazing coworking space surrounded by a beautiful tropical landscape. I decided to come back to Siargao as I knew I had now a safe place to work and I cannot be happier. Space is cozy, super clean and with a special care of all the details. The meeting rooms are a plus for those having calls and the cafe serve yummy food and drinks. Very chill vibes and incredible pool views. Big shout out to Coco's staff! You are amazing! 🫢 Gracias and see you soon!!

Great place to work from. Active community. Stable Internet connection. They are completely energy independent, producing their own electricity with some solar panels. It's good, because not affected by power outages. But that's why they might be closed and rainy/cloudy days.

I love how an industrial-designed space is surrounded with banana and coconut trees! Chill vibes inside while working and owner is very attentive. The spring onion ginger chicken tastes delish!! Definitely one of the reasons to go back to and co work in Iao! 🌴🫢

This place is invaluable when the island has it's many lengthly power outages. Beyond that it's a nice place to focus, great wifi, lovely view to work from overlooking lush jungle. If you go more than once you'll see familiar faces along with being able to meet new folks. There are other co-working options on the island but this one to me felt the easiest to focus. The only con to other alternatives is they price more around the day vs hours. I ended up going with a pass that had 5 days to be used anytime within my one month stay and that was perfect for me.

The place is amazing, the food is really good and the people are very kind! The only problem for us is the Starlink wifi, it is not strong enough for the work we have to do. We have to upload and edit videos, so the wifi is strong but for not good enough for uploading videos, unfortunately. But overall it was very nice to be there!🌴
